I’ve been a lover of taking photos since I was little, but photography has become so much more to me as time as gone on. I pick up the camera because I believe that every photo is a preservation of a feeling. To me, photography isn’t just about lighting or perfect poses; it’s about capturing the fleeting moments we don’t want to lose. We tend to see memories in everything, and photos have been so special in helping us picture those moments visually. Photography has also found it’s way to my current degree!
I am currently pursuing my Associates in Arts and a certificate in Graphic Design, I approach every shoot with a designer’s eye for detail, color, and storytelling. Whether I’m shooting with my digital Canon or a vintage Sony Handycam, I’m looking for the authentic narrative in every frame. I also pursued photography for a senior project by working one-on-one with a freelance photographer. She taught me so many things in regards to photography technical wise, but also gave me room to grow in my passion and art of photography and editing. I also learned to do videography with her and the process of how that work! Here’s some work I was able to do with her over the course of a year.

When I’m not behind the camera or doing school work, you can find me obsessing over art, design, and typography, spending time with family and friends, or exploring local businesses and coffee shops!
